2. Pop into Tayto Park in the *gasp* night
Tayto Park After Dark will see Tayto Park (ok so it’s not in Dublin, but it’s Dublin adjacent) stay open until the slightly later than usual time of 9pm. Visitors will be able to take a night ride on the Cú Chulainn Coaster, see a 5D Gorror Movie and step inside the haunted mansion.
Mr. Tayto better not creep up on anyone from behind.
3. Squirm in your seat at Bleedin’ Deadly

Ever wonder what it would be like to visit a real-life freak show? Bleedin’ Deadly is a sort of variety show featuring the world’s most pierced woman, a snake charmer and a Coney Island entertainer by the name of Donnie Vomit.
Sounds like the cast of the next American Horror Story, tbh.
4. Go on a spooky odyssey with Eerie
Eerie is an audio ghost tour that takes you on a weird and wonderful walking tour of Dublin. Participants get their tickets from Smock Alley Theatre, download the ghost story onto your phone and let it guide you through the city.
Run For Your Lives is a 5KM zombie obstacle course in which participants have to try their best to make it through the obstacle course without being eaten by zombies. Last year, 3,000 people entered and a mere 157 survived.
Get your leggings on.
6. Werewolves
Who is in the mood for a parlour game? As part of Bram Stoker Festival, a large-scale game of Werewolves will take place in Generator Hostel, Smithfield.
Sounds positively delightful.
7. Samhain Parade
Like St. Patrick’s Day parade, but spookier and more macabre.
The Samhain Parade promises to be an unbelievable spectacle with floats from the one and only Macnas. Halloween sorted.
8. IFI Horrorthon and Monsters at Light House Cinema
And finally, if you’re a horror aficionado, you are in for a treat as both the IFI and Light House Cinema have a programme of exciting horror films for all to enjoy.
The IFI Horrorthon will feature 35 terrifying films while Light House Cinema will be showing classics like Dracula and Bride of Frankenstein, so there’s bound to be something to satiate your appetite.
